The Occidental Hotel, 10 North Main Street

Completely remodeled in the 1990s, the Occidental Hotel has been rebuilt or added onto in 1903, 1908, and 1910, and has been a staple on Main Street since Charles Buell built the first structure from logs in 1879. The only first class hotel in northern Wyoming at the time, famous visitors included “Buffalo Bill” Cody, Teddy Roosevelt, Owen Wister, Butch Cassidy, and the Sundance Kid.
